Palestine supporters began protesting inside the Cathedral of Learning on the University of Pittsburgh’s campus on April 23 starting at 7:30 a.m. Protestors are demanding the University of Pittsburgh to divest or withdraw investment from companies abetting apartheid, occupation, and genocide. The protestors were relocated outside of the Cathedral where they were met by Israel supporters. Over a dozen Pittsburgh Police officers were on the scene acting as a barricade between groups. Palestine supporters settled on the lawn at Schenley Plaza where they plan to stay until Friday, April 26.
