Eliza Miller's sculpture at the Highland Park pool
From 3-6 p.m., there is free admission to the Citiparks pool in Highland Park. The family-friendly, all-ages event celebrates the public artwork by Eliza Miller, a
cut-out-style steel sculpture from 1981 on one of the site's buildings that depicts swimmers jumping and diving.
Along with pool access, the event also features music by a DJ, snacks, outdoor games and art activities.
If you’re going, the Office of Public Art requests that you register
here, though registration is not required.
For more information, see the event
Facebook page. Questions can also be emailed to
[email protected].
The Highland Park Pool is located at 13 Lake Drive, in the park called Highland Park.
