Local activists are planning a rally tonight to call for peace in Gaza, which could soon face a possible Israeli invasion. As CNN noted early this morning, airstrikes have continued on the city throughout the night.
The rally will be held at 5 p.m. tonight, at the U.S. Federal Building, 1000 Liberty Ave., Downtown.
It is sponsored by Pitt Students for Justice in Palestine, Point Park Students for Justice in Palestine, Pittsburgh Palestine Solidarity Committee, CODEPINK Pittsburgh Women for Peace, Party for Socialism and Liberation and the International Socialist Organization.
If you plan on attending, check here for road closures and parking restrictions since tonight is Light-up Night Downtown.
